Ingredients: - 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 2 teaspoons Chinese 5 spice stir fry seasoning
- 350g pork fillet, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 red pepper, deseeded and sliced into strips
- 150ml pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon soft brown sugar
Method:
- Place the cornflour in a large plastic bag and add the Chinese 5 spice stir fry seasoning.
- Add the pork pieces and shake well until the meat is evenly coated.
- Using a 'V' bladed Vegetable Slicer, slice the peppers into strips. Heat the oil in a wok and add the onion, garlic and red pepper strips. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the pork and stir fry for a further 3-4 minutes.
- Add the pineapple juice, vinegar, soy sauce and sugar. Cook until the sauce has thickened. Serve immediately, if liked with boiled rice.
